A large main contractor who specialise within the industrial, retail and commercial sectors are searching for a Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Having been established for close to 15 years, they have become known throughout the industry for their professionalism and high level of staff retention & development.

They have recently become the largest construction company to go private in the UK which is a testament to how they value their staff.

Throughout the past 15 years, this business has competed against other large contractors and now have a very strong client base which they do a lot of repeat work with.

You will be joining a close-knit site team on a busy £30m new build warehouse scheme which is just about to go in to groundworks / frame stage, you will be overseeing the engineering team which currently consists of 2 site engineers and a junior engineer.

Some of your duties will include:

Liaising with site management team

Answering any technical issues and rectifying where needed

Mentoring junior engineers

Keeping client regularly up to date

About you:

HNC / D or Degree in Civil Engineering

Strong earthworks and steel frame experience

Mentored junior engineers in previous role
