Are you a main contracting Senior Quantity Surveyor wanted who is based in a commutable distance to Amersham, West London? Or are you a Project Quantity Surveyor looking for a step up into a senior role?
MTS have the pleasure of assisting a established and award winning contractor with their search for a Quantity surveyor to join their close knit team team.
About the Role
You will have the opportunity to work on a diversity of projects including education, healthcare, residential and affordable housing, between £10-30 million.
The business has an extensive order book offering continuity of works within the Amersham and West London surrounding local areas.
This opportunity offers a highly attractive salary with numerous benefits including a car allowance, health-care and pension to name a few.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to the following:
• Maximising profit via control of costs
• Supervising the placement of contractors and subcontractors as well as material orders
• Producing valuations, project performance documentation and monitoring the budget
• Assessing contractual risks
• Measuring quality and value of work
• Raising invoices and issuing payments
About You

You will be a knowledgeable and commercially-minded individual who has a strong track record of having delivered a range of interesting schemes in a main contractor environment.
You will:
• Hold a degree or similar qualification such as NVQ Level 6 or HND in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (RICS status is desirable if not essential)
• Have extensive experience of having delivered large-scale construction projects across a variety of sectors
• Have previous work experience with an established main contractor
• Be a strong mentor and be able to support the Quantity Surveyor and junior staff
