Senior Project Manager – Science, Healthcare & Pharma

London & Surrounding Counties (initial scheme likely Windsor/Maidenhead)

£75,000 to £105,000 p/annum

Our client is a progressive, multi-national contractor who currently boasts an impressive portfolio of large scale construction schemes across the country. Despite the recent economic downturn, their project pipeline has meant that they have continued to hire in line with their pre-2020 growth projections and this is the reason for the latest requirement…..growth! Our latest mandate is for a Senior Project Manager to deliver complicated healthcare, science and pharmaceuticals schemes across London and the South East, likely worth anything up to £50m each in value. Occasionally involved in the bidding process, you'll have experience of working at all stages of the construction process for a main contractor through to handover including elements of fit-out, M&E, etc. Initially, you'll likely be based on a project just west of London (likely Maidenhead/Windsor area) but will need to be flexible on travel across London and surrounding counties within reason.

Your experience will include the following:

Significant experience of delivering schemes of up to £50m within the healthcare, pharma or science/laboratories sector for a UK main contractor.
Experience of full project lifecycle, i.e. design through to handover.
Bid/tender experience would be an advantage but not essential.
Proactive, positive individual who is capable of engaging with key stakeholders.
Good man-management skills.
Eligible to work in the UK.

On offer is a basic salary of between £75,000 and £105,000 per annum plus a car/allowance of circa 8%, pension, health insurance and a comprehensive benefits package.
