Senior Landscaping Operations Manager – £60,000 to £75,000 + Package!
My Client is an award winning Soft and Hard Landscape Contractor. Their core business centres on Commercial landscape construction and maintenance. Project Values range from £100K – £10Million. The core business is landscape construction for Developers and Large Main Contrators it is our aim to extend this market through the appointment of a Senior Operations Manager:
We are open to take someone who has expereince within the role as a Project or Contracts Manager.
The key markets to be targeted for future growth are:
* Local Authority park renovations
* Canary Wharf Contractors
* Development works UK wide other than existing South East Market
* Royal Parks contract works
* Commercal Landscaping works – commercial properties/Business Parks
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of each of our pending and active projects including, the scope of works, programme, tender documentation and contract particulars
* Production of contract programmes; monitoring, amending and updating project operations accordingly and advising of any potential delays to the client team
* Preparation of contract budgets; detailed cost plans; bills of quantities and procurement plans
* Championing of and ensuring compliance with our site-specific company policies and procedures
* Ensuring that all projects are managed effectively and safely to comply with all aspects of the current health and safety regulations
* Responsible for ensuring and maximising profitability of contracts and delivery of works on time.
* Leading the supervisors in presenting and mentoring on the delivery of toolbox talks
* Ensuring that sites are managed in a clean, safe and tidy manner
* Sourcing of materials, negotiating keen prices and placing orders as required
* Mentoring others in the adherence to the Company’s procedures and quality practices
* Managing the quality of the delivery of the projects to ensure that the good name of and the reputation of the Company is maintained and enhanced
* Promotion of the Company at all times
* Tender for and build up a new arm to the business in the area of remit in the above section of Key Markets for growth
Person Specification
* Professional in approach
* CSCS Card
* SMSTS
* Understand Health and Safety compliance / ISOH Regulations??
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Experience managing a team
* Landscape Qualifications
