Our client is looking for a piling competent senior site engineer to join their team on HS2 works on a permanent basis.

The majority of the work is piling works and this position would suit somebody that comes from a Tier 2 contractor or specialist subcontractor and is keen to work on larger schemes within a reputable business.

Some of your duties will include: 

Overseeing setting out and site engineers

Prepare written risk and method statements

Ensuring your section meets company quality and health & safety standards

Maintaining a site diary

Advising site engineers on setting out methods and techniques

Maintaining strong client liaison and with third party colleagues

Liaise closely with greater site team to ensure deadlines are met on time

Liaise with external contractors when necessary

About you:

HNC/D or Degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Engineer

Sound knowledge of piling and heavy civils projects

Salary: 

Up to £60,000 + package
