Senior Engineer**

This Senior Engineer role is with one of the UK’s leading main contractors and operates primarily in industrial and commercial space with projects ranging in value from £5 – £100m.

The Role

The projects that you will be working on are brand new distribution centres. For this role it is essential that you have previous experience of working on distribution/logistics schemes. Steel frame experience is also essential and along the team you will be responsible for developing the site in its entirety including:

* Assist Project/Senior Site Manager with cost reviews for project budgets

* Produce and monitor timescales of when RAMS, drawings and all other important documentation is required

* Setting out from the contract drawings/information carry out surveys as and when required

* Produce, maintain, and monitor programme of works

* Oversee quality control and safety matters on site and ensure all regulations are adhered to

* Maintain records, site diaries, quality assurance documentation, reports, and records

* Assist/have responsibility for the Health & Safety matters on site

* Commercial awareness, with the ability to ensure that works are being carried out and completed to an appropriate standard and level of detail, measured against the contracted deliverables, and tracked against the agreed budget

* Produce method statements and risk assessments to be approved by Project/Senior Site Manager

* Raise Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for all non-conformances and reports potential non-conformances

* Produce Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) that correctly interpret the specified quality requirements

* Implements the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and the Request for Witness and Approval (RWA) procedures

* Carries out quality control checks using internal check sheets where appropriate
