JOB TITLE: Senior Engineer – Rail
LOCATION: Buckinghamshire
SALARY: £42-52k Per Annum

THE CLIENT
My Buckinghamshire based client are currently looking to recruit a Senior Engineer to join their civil engineering team working on a rail projects in Buckinghamshire.
This is a permanent opportunity paying a competitive salary and benefits package, depending on level of experience.

THE ROLE
* Scope of works include new platforms, new overbridges, new footbridges or subways and changes to railway crossings.
* Ideally you will have good understanding of civils work in the rail sector and have good knowledge of Network Rail processes and procedures.
* Engineering Quality Assurance (QA) on site independent from the Infrastructure Delivery Team (Engineer)
* Planning, estimating and logistics for solutions designed in house or by others
* Support in the development and application of digital engineering methods processes and tools
* Generation of design scopes for subcontractor procurement and management
* Planning of design services for tendering and management of delivery
* Interfaces surrounding key disciplines identified, described, and managed
* Design for construction at all stages from concept to delivery
* Best viable solution to suit customer and circumstances
* Design checking
* Design Reports.

ABOUT YOU
* Degree level qualification in Engineering
* Working towards professional membership of a relevant institution.
* PTS
* The successful candidate will have a proven track record in civils and rail, be confident to work on their own
