About The Role
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
We are now looking to appoint a senior commercial manager as Area Commercial Lead for one of our section of works. Working closely with the Construction Director to maximise commercial opportunities where possible both up and down the supply chain.
You will need to be able to lead a large team through the commercial control, and management of the various commercial functions. Producing and compiling accurate forecasts and budget information, exercising tight cost control and producing accurate reports to the client is a key part of this role. You will also need to maintain and improve client relations whilst ensuring full entitlement under the contract is achieved.
We’ll also need you to produce monthly Cost Value reports and present these to the business senior leadership team/directors. Driving the development and expansion of the supply chain to support the optimal delivery of current contracts is a key part of this role.
