Senior Commercial Manager

Package: £85k – £100k basic + package

Location: West London

We are very excited to be bringing to you this Senior Commercial Manager position. Our client is a highly respected and established House Builder who has embarked on growth and now needs a Senior Commercial Manager to assist the Director by taking day to day responsibility of running the Commercial Department on a large mixed use site for over 1000 units.

Our client is looking for someone who has been managing a team of Surveyors / Senior Surveyors / SQS / QS and delivering at least 100 units per annum. This would be a great opportunity for any Quantity Surveyors / Chief Surveyor / Managing Surveyors to take the step up, you will need to be passionate about delivering strong margins, developing team members and has dealt with a large number of RC Frame projects. Our client is also recognised for their internal promotions. 

Commercial Manager / Head of Commercial Key Responsibilities:

Produce and/or manage and lead external cost consultants to provide accurate cost plans, within tight timescales, at land acquisition, planning and build budget stages. Produce/review acquisition feasibility reports as necessary.
Liaison with the technical team to review of all Building Regulation and working drawing packages for value engineering and procurement requirement purposes.
Attendance of design team meetings to provide design change cost implications and suggestions of value engineering alternatives.
Review sales/technical specifications to ensure materials and products comply with budgeted allowances.
Manage a team of Surveyors and assist the Commercial Director in the day to day running of the large mixed use project.
