A high profile joint venture consisting of a number of internationally recognised Civil Engineering and Construction companies are searching for an additional Senior Buyer to join their team.

You will be working alongside a busy procurement team and be focused on the procurement of materials, subcontract packages and plant hire.

You will be working directly with the Procurement Manager for a busy section of works managing the tender, award and recommendation of works packages.

Due to the fast paced nature of this role, it would be preferable that you have previous construction experience, however if you have strong buying experience and knowledge of taking a project from start to finish then that would also be a consideration.

You will need to have strong organisational skills and be a strong communicator as you will be liaising with various suppliers within the supply chain.

About you:

Previous buying experience

Construction experience preferred (but not essential)

Able to commute to Buckinghamshire
