Section Engineer – Long term Freelance – Milton Keynes

How would you like to work with a tier 1 civils contractor in their rail division?

I'm looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join my client, a tier 1 civil engineering and rail contractor on a freelance basis, currently working on a high profile rail project in Buckinghamshire.

The scope of works you will work on include highways and utilities works. It is essential the successful candidate has a background in this previously.

This is a long term and ongoing contract paying £280 – £320 LTD per day depending on experience.

Roles and responsibilities:

Reporting to the senior engineer, and project manager
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design team
Preparing and writing method statements, ITP's and risk assessments
Planning and programming of the works
Attending weekly progress meetings Candidate Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
A valid CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS is ideal
Ideally, hold a TWC ticket or have experience working in a similar role
Sentinel card – preferred
Knowledge working on similar projects
