About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
 
EKFB Are looking to recruit a Site / Section Engineer to be our Senior External Interface Advisor.
 
The successful candidate will:
 
Lead on external stakeholder interface as required.
 
Advise and support interface owners on best approach to manage external interfaces and meet requirements.
 
Manage Interface coordination amongst project contractors whether enabling works/Utilities to ensure Interface are managed and document completion.
 
Be a main point of contact between external stakeholders and internal teams, coordinating technical engagement as required.
 
Maintain the Interface Control Register and preparation of Interface Control Documents.
 
Monitor performance of interface activities using key metrics and preparation of reports.
 
Develop ongoing process and system as project matures.
 
Carry out EKFB training and audits as required.
 
Support the team day to day admin requiring compliance with document control and SharePoint.

About The Candidate
Knowledge of large scale civil engineering Projects
Understanding of HS2 Act (or similar) requirements and the constraints this applies
Understanding of TCPA process for works planned outside Act limits
Awareness of the constraints / sensitivities from working in the rural environment
IT skills – Office, SharePoint, Document Management Systems, awareness of GIS platforms
