Due to growth and continued business strategy my client has a new and exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join their team who are long established and leading suppliers of water recycling systems used within office buildings, airports and stadiums in the UK. My client wishes to expand sales significantly in a sector of growing demand and their ideal candidate will have proven technical sales experience in the construction industry, in particular, contractors, construction companies, consulting engineers within the M25 and home counties. The role offers career development to National Sales Manager.

Sales Manager role:
The successful Sales Manager will report to Managing Director and be responsible for:

* Significant increase of sales of water recycling systems in the South East – mainly London and outside the M25.

* Create new leads by warm and cold calling, internet research and marketing activities.

* To target and build relationships with contractors (e.g. Imtech, Crown House) especially London initially. Relevant consulting engineers (e.g. ARUP, AECOM). Construction companies (e.g. Skanska, Kier). End clients / developers, in key sectors, who can really benefit from our technology.

* You will support the design team in preparing quotes.

* Follow-up leads and quotes on a systematic basis using the companies CRM software.

* Keep CRM system up to date (Simpro)

* Manage marketing campaigns.

* Keep the content on the website fresh and current

* Work closely with the Managing Director and the design team on projects

* Play a key role in management meetings.

* Prepare sales reports and analyse data from CRM.

* Review and analyse the results of marketing campaigns.

Sales Manager Requirement:

* Proactive sales driven individual.

* Minimum 2 years’ business development experience in construction sector.

* Knowledge of and relations with companies trading in the construction sector.

* MEP engineering experience.

* Cold calling, lead generation experience.

* Follow up and relationship building experience.

* Previous water recycling system sales experience

Sales Manager Package:
Salary – £40k + commission
