Revit MEP Technician

Location – Milton Keynes

Salary – Negotiable Depending on Experience

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our well-respected clients who were formed over 35 years ago. Their principal activities have been the design of Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, Sprinkler Systems, and Insulated Structure Installations, along with all the specialist service elements that these packages require. Over the years their experience has extended into specializing in automated warehousing, projects for the e-commerce market covering general merchandise, clothing, and food distribution markets. Their services include Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, Refrigeration Plant Design, Insulated Structure Design, Sprinkler Fire Protection Design, Building Automation and Control Systems, Energy Audits and Reviews, Conditions Surveys, Feasibility Studies, Sustainability, BREEAM, 3D Modelling and Visualization – BIM.

My clients project experience not only covers all the UK, but they are currently working on projects in the Middle East and Asia. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a experienced Revit MEP Technician to join the team.

Responsibility & Duties

* Following CAD standards.

* Preparing drawings and sketches using Revit MEP software

* Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers in connection with the preparation of CAD drawings.

* Assisting with the preparation of scheme designs.

* To be conversant with Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Services

* Proficient manager of the set up and coordination of 3D BIM models within the Revit environment.

* To be proficient in the use of Revit, Navisworks and Solibri for BIM modelling.

* Proficient manager of BIM models within the Revit environment.

Experience & Qualification

* Good working knowledge of AutoCAD & Revit MEP

* BIM experience advantageous

* Navisworks, Solibri Advantageous

* Experience working in building services environment.

* Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake above responsibilities.

* Good knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering terminology

* Building Services background
