Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join a Retail Fit Out and Groundwork's contractor who support the commercial and retail sectors with refurb, maintenance and extension work. You will assist with the preparation of specification tenders for fit-out projects. Specialists in dry lining and plastering supporting retail chains Nationally. This position is a mixture of office and site-based duties. This position is for an l established and growing contractor who would like to recruit a team member who wants to grow with the business.

Overview of duties:

Working with the Contracts Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the scheme
Implementing agreed commercial strategies
Estimating assisting with bids and tenders
Undertaking tender costing analysis/procurement schedules
Applications for payment
Cash flow management / forecasts
Identifying / pricing / negotiating variations
Contributing to the maintaining of company accreditation's
Placement of Sub-Contract Orders
Sub-Contractor valuations / Payment Notices
Final Account agreements
Site visits and Client ManagementRequirements:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
You must hold a relevant and up to date CSCS card and have proficient Health & Safety knowledge
Computer literate.
Strong Commercial awareness
Experience in Fit-Out is essential with a knowledge of trade packages
