About the Role:

Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for new position? Would you be interested in working for a market leader in Industrial, Mega Shed and Manufacturing markets? If you keep up to date with industry trends you will be aware that this sector is forecast sustained growth over the next few years. Given the buoyant market and growing demands, my client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be accountable for the financial success of their projects. You will be expected to take projects from pre-award tender process through to completion. For this position its likely you will need to visit projects which are UK wide, however it is unlikely you will need to stay away.

About the Company:

This client is award winning, and has been constructing specialist projects for the past two decades and have an outstanding record of delivering demanding project in sensitive environments of the Logistics & Distribution, Technology, Pharma and Food and Beverage industries. Projects undertaken consist of new build, upgrades/refurbishments, fit-out and extension projects throughout the UK and internationally, with contracts ranging from £5milliion to £50 million.

In addition, they house their own research and development team in order to stay at the forefront of new construction methods and technology.

Requirements:

Candidates will ideally have a year or two’s industry experience however graduates will be also be considered. Due to the geographical location of projects you must be willing to travel away from home 1-2 days a week and will ideally live within a 1 hour commute to their office in Buckinghamshire. Candidates will ideally come from a degree or similar construction qualification background. Drive and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment will be a key performance indicator within this role.

Package:

The base package is circa £60,000 – £75,000 and the company’s main ambition is to bring an individual into the organisation with the ability to grow and become a valued member of the team. There will also be a benefits package in addition to the basic salary including car allowance, pension and healthcare
