In a Nutshell:

The main purpose of our Quantity Surveyor role is to be responsible for managing all costs relating to New Build Residential Developments. Your focus is to minimise the costs of a project and enhance margin and value for money, whilst still achieving the required standards and quality.

What we would like from you:

Key Responsibilities –

Completion of Sub Contract orders and variations
Collating and issuing tender packs for sub-contractor work packages
Negotiation and Analysis of Sub contractor work packages
Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
Dealing with Customer extra payments and orders
Completing Monthly CVRs and cost reporting
Attending site project meetings
Producing tender analysis for sub contract work packages
Cost reporting and budget controlCompetencies –

HNC in Surveying or Construction
Experience of working within the Construction industry for a residential housing developer, specifically on new build developments
Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills
Enthusiasm
Flexibility
Able to work within a busy team and under pressureDesirable:

HND or higher qualification
National House builder experience
Different methods of construction ie Timber Frame
COINs user experience
