Quantity Surveyor – Permanent – Milton Keynes – c.£65,000 plus package

Kenton Black is currently working with a main contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor, based out of their head office in Milton Keynes. You will be reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor and working on multiple commercial and industrial contracts, ranging from £1m – £20m in value. The nature of the projects will generally be industrial units comprising of steel frame, metal cladding, category A fit out and external works including civils & drainage.

The Quantity Surveyor will ideally come from a main contracting background who has excellent knowledge and experience of working on industrial units.

Duties will include:

• Sub-contractors tendering
• Final Accounts
• Sub -contractors payment
• Cost plans
• Valuations
• Variations
• Cost reporting

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a progressive company who has an excellent client base and a constant pipeline of work (largely through repeat business).
