Quantity Surveyor – Residential Developer / Contractor

Salary – Up to £70k + Package & Benefits

Location: Milton Keynes

About the Company:

A well-established privately owned developer, our client has pursued a carefully planned strategic growth to arrive at their current position as a widely recognised and highly successful constructor of social housing throughout London and the South East. They are the Strategic Partner of a variety of Housing Associations both based in the Home Counties and the London region. Our client is both a private developer and a specialist HA contractor who has had solid and uncompromised success over the last 4 years and is looking to continue this growth and development by adding to an already thriving team. My client has gone from a circa £10m turnover operation to a £30m turnover operation, and boasts roughly 50 members of staff with projects covering all quadrants of London and the Home Counties ranging from a collection of large 4 bedroom family homes in Surrey to a block of apartments in North West London.

About the Role:

My client is in the market of an ambitious, self-motivated individual to join our rapidly expanding Commercial team to lead with the commercial management and procurement on a variety of new build residential projects up to 300 units (RC Frame and Traditional Build).

·Calculating take-offs

·Procurement of materials/subcontractors

·Preparing BOQs /estimating

·Managing Subcontracts – valuation, variations etc.

·Preparing monthly reports and reconciliations

·Preparing/submitting valuations
