Project Quantity Surveyor required to join an industry leading roofing specialist to work on projects across the North London and home counties area. The company work on a variety of housing, education and commercial projects, working closely with social and private housing providers. The company have been continuously growing and therefore, now require an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Project Surveyor to join their team.

The offices are based near Northampton, with most of their projects being based across North London and Home Counties. Therefore, the suitable applicant must be willing to split their time between sites and offices in Northamptonshire.

The suitable Quantity Surveyor will have a good background working within a Sub-Contractor or Main Contractor previously and ideally have a good understanding or the roofing / building envelope sector.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

To manage all costs from initial design to completion final account.
Ensure full financial management from Design, Estimating, Procurement, Pre-commencement and Delivery of the contract through to completion and agreement of final account.
Create supply chain and sub-contractor packages
Labour and material costs
Provide financial information including valuations, variations and project final account.
Make sure company adheres to all Health and Safety requirements.
Location/Area: Most of the work will be London based (North M25, North London and Home Counties).
The role is likely to be split 2/3 days on site and 2/3 days in the office, so the ideal candidate would live anywhere South of Northampton (i.e. Luton or Milton Keynes).

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

Ideally Degree educated within a relevant subject (Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management)
Worked within a sub-contractor / main contractor in QS role previously
Based South of Northampton and North of London (Milton Keynes / Luton area)
Happy to commute between locations
Full UK Drivers License

Quantity Surveyor Position Remuneration

Salary £45,000 – £50,000 (dependant on experience)
Car allowance of £7,500
Pension of 5% employer / 4% employee.
