Project Manager (Latent Defects/ Construction)
Covering Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Hatfield, Oxford and North London
£62,608 per annum
Permanent, Full Time
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for leading on latent defect projects and ensuring that they are delivered with minimum disturbance, to the correct quality levels and with minimum commercial and financial liability to Paradigm Housing Group. You will be required to proactively manage, liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders to diagnose, submit claims, monitor and manage claims to resolution.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance to all health and safety regulations and also CDM and Principal Designer obligations are completed.
To be successful in this role you must have:

Recognised degree-level qualification or equivalent, preferably in a construction-related discipline

Membership of relevant professional body e.g. CIOB, RICS
*
In-depth understanding and practical application of the development process and property and contract law / legislation
*
A minimum of 3 years experience, with a commercial approach to managing defects in construction contracts, and an ability to combine application of current case law with appropriate and intelligent contractor / partner relationship management
*
Proven negotiating skills with a ability to influence and lead relationships, produce management reports for stakeholders, working under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
*
Sound technical/construction knowledge with experience of on-site work
*
Experience of construction procurement, including for contractors and professional advisors
*
Driving licence
