Project manager – Housebuilder – Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire – Traditional Build.

We are working closely with a medium sized regional housebuilder with multiple sites across Essex Hertfortdshire & Bedfordshire, with projects ranging from 27 – 200 units.

With several new projects starting imminently an exciting opportunity for a Project manager is now sought to run one of the new schemes. The role will be based in Milton Keynes with the head office based in Hertfordshire . Initial site will be a Traditional Build site consisting of Trad Build units. No.1 one on site overseeing the various phases and senior management team, Your new role As project manager you will be no.1 on a larger scheme reporting to the construction director, you will join the project at pre-construction stage and in conjunction with the relevant departments have responsibility for site mobilisation, appointment of site team, sub contract procurement, approval of construction phase plan then moving to managing the Site team and subcontractors to deliver the project, delivering progress reports to the Directors on a monthly basis and liaising with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the scheme from both a financial, programme and safety point of view. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience of running a major house building scheme is essential as either a pm or experienced senior site manager. You will have worked for a national house builder and be comfortable managing site teams from pre-construction through to NHBC handover and after-sales. You will be comfortable working in the Kent and be looking for a permanent role with a stable, background and sound references.
