About the Employer:

Based in Bucks, Our client is a multi-disciplined Sub-Contractor specialising in, Façade systems, Dry Lining, Decorating, Tiling and Fire stopping who have built an outstanding industry reputation on delivering first class construction packages within various sectors of industry including, High End Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Educational and Health. Throughout their 15 year establishment they’ve spearheaded the industry with dynamic approach and have built / maintained strong client relationships with some of the UK’s largest construction firms including Kier, Galliford Try, Multiplex and McLaren. They currently have an annual turnover of £25m and our clients’ prime focus is on packages ranging anything from £1m to £5m, working within London and Surrounding Counties.

About the Role:

Due to company growth, my client is seeking to employ a Dry Lining Project Manager to oversee projects in London. This role will include but not be limited to ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget and assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility of project. You will also be expected to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation as well as work closely with project designers to ensure that the design complies with the estimate. In addition to this you will be Ensuring all changes and variation to the contract are passed to Estimating and then onto QS for mark ups if rates apply. Liaise with QS on any abortive costs or extras. You will also be getting stuck in manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

The guideline salary is £45K – £65K, however this will be dependent upon the specific skills and experience of each individual.

Requirements:

Our client is open to looking at Project Managers who have previous experience working in the construction industry in a similar role. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work under your own initiative as well as within a team and you must have minimum 4 years Dry Lining experience
