About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Construction and Delivery team across a section of the new high speed rail link.
You will be responsible for fulfilling the duties and obligations of the NEC3 Project Manager on behalf of the Project Client and the Senior Project Manager. Provide Support to the Senior Project Manager in establishing, monitoring, and managing delivery of consistent contract management.
You will also be responsible for the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) duties as delegated by the Client Representative. Proactively manage risk within the Integrated Project team and support the mitigation of HS2 programme level risks.
About The Candidate
You will have qualifications in project management, engineering, commercial management or the equivalent experience.
You must show the ability to plan and integrate projects to optimise target costs, dependencies, risk management and project benefits.
Also, you will need to be able to show organisational & decision-making skills and that you can establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
About The Company
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.
