Procurement Manager
Leading National Multi-Disciplinary Main Contractor is looking to hire a Procurement Manager for the Head office & UK operations. The group has seen a 31% uplift on project awards and turnover and they need to appoint the right procurement manager to hands on drive workload and delivery to support the groups growth.
This will be working within a small team so it’s a roll of doing opposed to delegation. The right procurement manager will be reporting into the Head Of Procurement you will be tasked with handling large scale sub contract orders , strategic agreements & trade deals.
This business has projects within Energy , Rail , Industrial , Residential , Stadium & Mixed Use . They have a track record of Project Values ranging from £35 Million to £200 Million.
They have an excellent reputation for staff development & progression. This group handled the pandemic in immaculate fashion implementing work from home & testing protocols early when many were floundering.

Our client is seeking the following :
* Strong Communicator
* Good negotiation skills with a history of success
* Solid Construction knowledge
* Good knowledge base within the sub contract market – Plant , Machinery , Earthworks , Structures etc
* Minimum of 5 Years within Procurement Ideally within the Main Contracting or Sub Contracting Arena – Build , Civil or Rail experience is fine.
* Experience of awarding sub contracts , handling RFQ's and so on
* Working within a fast paced environment and helping to make a difference
