Principal Civil Design Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 basic

The Opportunity: –

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established global engineering consultancy; their civil engineering design team is expanding due to continual growth. You will be designing highways, roads, drainage schemes for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days working in Milton Keynes

The Role: –

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with this Global Civil Engineering consultancy that has a significant footprint in several key markets in the UK. This particular role is based in the Milton Keynes office within the Residential team, The Successful Civil Design Engineer will be working closely with their residential clients made up of the top 20 housing developers in the UK.

You will be an integral part of the team in delivering detailed designs for clients for all civil engineering elements of residential development schemes. From the land clearance, drainage, flood prevention, Road layouts, paving and green space as part of the larger new build developments.

Core Duties include:

Undertake detailed design of all civil engineering elements on residential schemes, ensure those designs are fully value-engineered, suitable for adoption and most importantly to the clients brief and expectations.
Assist with leading and developing a team of engineers within the engineering department
Development of new project schemes working with the leadership team but being developed to look after all the design aspects of the project.
designing roads, drainage, utilities and sewers layouts, communicating at all levels and engaging successfully with clients and local authorities.
Ideally knowledge of DMRB standards, and highway and drainage agreement processes with highway and sewerage authorities.
Build and develop good client relationshipsQualifications: –

Minimum of an HNC or HND or Degree in Civil Engineering.
Worked in a Design capacity on New Build developments be it drainage, roads, utilities etc…
Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD or Windes and PDS or XP Site 3DTo Apply: –
