Vanta Staffing are recruiting for a PLant Mechanic ,Normal hours of work 8.00- 4.30 Monday to Friday, with one Saturday a month on a seasonal basis. 30 mins unpaid lunch break.

Based at our premises on Cressex Business Park, High Wycombe, Bucks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1/ Carry out servicing and repairs to diesel, hydraulic and electric machines to ensure they conform to manufacturers specification and company policy.

2/ To repair and service customers own machinery.

3/ Diagnose problems with machines either at premises or over the phone.

4/ Assist with customers when calling in to our premises for either repairs or sales.

5/ Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite at all times.

6/ Deliveries to site may be required.

7/ On-site servicing and repairs if required.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION Essential

Previous Mechanical experience.
Presentable with good communication skills.
Able to work on own initiative and with a team.
Full driving licence.Desirable

Previous experience with a Plant Hire Company
Basic computer skillsSALARY AND BENEFITS

Salary – £24,000- £32,000 dependent on experience
Overtime – 1.5 x outside normal working hours.

Holiday – 20 days plus bank holidays
Notice period – one month
