PLANNING MANAGER
MAIN CONTRACTING
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE / M40
£100K – £120K AND PACKAGE

Planning Manager needed to oversee a Planning team reporting direct to Business Unit MD. Proven planning management experience working on large scale, fast track, multi-phased construction projects within a contracting organization needed.

The role of Planning Manager is to oversee and undertake planning evaluation, tasks and activities, monitor reporting schedules and plans and their accuracy to inform decision making, ensuring compliance with applicable regional standards and procedures.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Expert user of P6
* Experienced in leading a team of planning professionals
* Proven track record of tender, project delivery and programme management
* Understanding of Design Processes and Experience of developing Integrated Schedules
* Extensive use and collection of production outputs and resource loaded programmes
* Understanding of BIM / exposure to 4D planning
* Used to working with portfolios of work in excess of £100m
* Experienced in delivering EVM
* Identifying key risks and areas of programme slippage, including helping to develop and implement solutions to resolve situation
