About the role:
They are currently seeking a Planned and Void Works Delivery Manager to assist in the operational business delivery, financial and performance management of all property and place related activities within the assigned geographical area.
Your main responsibilities will include:
*
Assisting in developing a commercially focused in house workforce who can deliver repairs, voids, compliance and major works ensuring customer excellence and the achievement of financial targets

Championing a health and safety culture throughout the team
*
Being the point of contact for the property services apprentices
*
Taking ownership of the delivery of all planned and void works
*
Undertaking stock condition and other surveys
*
Managing the quality of works undertaken
*
Identifying areas of poor performance and implementing actions to remedy these
What they’re looking for:
*
Experience of the maintenance of a response repairs and voids service
*
Experience of managing staff, work programmes, budgets and contracts Nat Fed 6.1
*
Knowledge of building regulations, codes of practice, British standards etc
*
Ability to write clear and concise reports
*
Ability to empower and engage staff to inspire confidence and trust, adapt to change and lead change processes
*
An understanding of building plans, specifications and tendering procedures (desirable)
*
Qualification in surveying / building discipline – Degree, RICS, CIOB or equivalent (desirable)
*
An interest in social housing (desirable)
