Passive Fire Contracts Manager

Milton Keynes

£50-60,000 plus package

Our client, a nationwide maintenance and refurbishment contractor, require an experienced contracts manager with the end goal of developing and expanding the passive fire protection arm of the business in the Southern region (Milton Keynes, Bedford, Buckingham, Stevenage, Luton, London)

The successful applicant will

Be responsible for the delivery of fire protection contracts including management of site teams, sub-contractors, health and safety representatives and administrative staff.
Ensure the company continually works within all Health & Safety guidelines and remain fully compliant at all times
Build key relationships with new and existing client base
Keep up to date with changes to legislation, accreditation and advise on necessary changes in working practices
Share good practice gained through operational experience with all staff on site

The following are all important to carrying out the role successfully

CSCS Supervisor card
First Aid training
SMSTS is essential
Passive Fire Protection experience
FIRAS or equivalent accreditation desirable.

Successful applicants will have a proven track record of carrying out an identical role within the passive fire industry and with a minimum of 3 years' contracts management experience.

Our client have a clear strategy for the business and it is their intention that the successful applicant for this post would be promoted to a Divisional Director level within a 3-5 year period. It is paramount that they make the right appointment and are looking for someone who will embrace the ethos and culture of the company while being an experienced hire.

You will have a full, clean UK driving licence and be willing to undertake DBS check.
