We are recruiting for an experienced Play and Sports area Operations Manager who has experience from within the play or sports surfacing sector and ideally of related landscaping works.
The Operations Manager will :
* Manage projects from sales team handover, scheduling the installation through to handover of site to Client.
* Work to ensure all works are delivered to budget, quality and agreed timeline.
* Effectively manage installation teams, sub contractors and suppliers to ensure the delivery of products and teams required to complete the installation project.
You will be joining an established Play and Sports Area Design, Installation and Maintenance Service Provider in what is a period of considerable growth and be part of the senior team working to complete installation projects efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
As the Operations Manager, you will have the full support of the Senior Management team, Contract Co-Ordinators, as well as the wider admin, design and sales teams.
You will need to have:
* A good grounding and understanding of play, safety and sports surfacing, landscaping or related construction installation projects.
* Strong administration, project managing, project planning, team development and motivation skills.
* An eye for detail and be used to delivering high-quality installation projects.
* The ability to instil this pride and way of working into your teams.
You will need to be:
* A confident communicator with the ability to work with clients managing their expectations, resolving any issues and ensuring that your teams are working effectively and with the care needed to exceed client expectations.
* Proactive in seeing opportunities for business development and happy to support the sales teams in developing business opportunities within the region.
* Used to both the operational and administrative side of installation project management and be confident in your ability to plan, schedule, amend or re-arrange projects as required.
In return, our Client is offering an annual salary of up to £38,000, a company car or car allowance, five weeks holiday plus bank holidays and a pension scheme.
