Our client, a leading specialist supplier of solid hardwood floors and specialist under structure systems into residential projects are seeking to appoint a National Sales Manager (Oils and Lacquers).
Reporting directly to the general manager your role will be to develop sales of their lacquers & oils for internal use. 80% of your time will spent generating new business sales through the targeting of professional floor sanders, contractors and distribution partners.
The role and the Person:
The role requires the successful candidate to be field based typically 4 days per week with an average of 3 pre booked appointments per day. During these calls you will be demonstrating our client’s lacquers & oils products to target end-users in order to get them to switch their purchases from competitor brand.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years proven sales experience within a building products environment selling via distribution to flooring installers and contractors. You will also have experience in securing product specifications with end-users, architects and interior designers through networking events, presentation of CPD seminars and provision of technical advice.
Through this you will create a sustainable sales pipeline in CRM database with identified key decision makers and defined next actions.
Internally you will have experience in developing strong working relationships with internal business support team members to qualify sales leads and move opportunities at pace through sales pipeline stages.
As this role is field based you must hold a valid driving licence and be comfortable working from home one day per week. (max 6 points)
