MEP Revit Manager (Building Services) Milton Keynes, Bucks

£45k – £50k Dept on experience

This role is to join an established consulting engineering practice who specialise in design within the mechanical and electrical field.

Design work undertaken includes refrigeration, sprinkler systems and insulated structure installations, along with all specialist service elements that are required. They also have a specialised team in automated warehousing, projects for the e-commerce market covering general merchandise, clothing and food distribution markets.

Due to continued growth within the business, they are now looking for a Revit Manager to join their team.

Key Expectations

* Expertise in the use of Revit, including:

Ability to examine and transfer 2D design layouts/mark-ups into Revit 3D geometry

Ability to draw/model all MEP services in Revit

* Proficient in the use of 2D AutoCAD and other 2D and 3D drawing packages

* Experience in the building services industry is essential.

* Ability to manage on time & accurate delivery of CAD/Revit work.

* Provide evidence of experience and understanding of drawing design of buildings.

* Confident communicator who isn’t afraid to ask questions in order to understand the design requirements.

* Ability to establish a good working relationship with the Architects, Design Engineers and the CAD/Revit team.

* Ability to produce and manage the production of accurate and detailed drawings to scale.

* Utilising relevant office project software including Revit & Navisworks.

* Production of coordinated 3D BIM models in line with current design practices
