Mechanical Quantity Surveyor – Permanent – Buckinghamshire
A Leading Uk contractor who specialises in the design and installation of mechanical and electrical services in all types of commercial and industrial sectors. Our client has the experience and financial stability to carry out multiple contracts with a typical individual project value of up to £30 million.

About The Role
The appointed candidate will work closely with the project management team, be responsible for the assisting in the provision of mechanical quantity surveying services and provide expert advice on all commercial aspects of construction projects including management of costs and contractual matters.
Key responsibilities:
Estimating and cost planning.
Procurement advice.
Contract administration and cost control.
Ensure that all commercial activities are delivered to the agreed time/cost/service/specification, presentation, and quality.
Work with clients on variations to the contract.
Allocate work to sub-contractors.
Value completed work and arrange payments.
Cost reporting and final account preparation.
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
Provide advice on contractual claims.
Work closely with Project Managers, attend meetings and undertake site visits.
To have knowledge and understanding of workplace health
Candidate Requirements:
Mechanical Industry Experience.
Working on projects from £500k – £30m
Relevant Degree or qualifications.
