Maintenance Operative – I am currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative to work for the UK's fastest-growing maintenance team within the retail sector, working in a store in Peterborough, East Anglia. The role will be employed initially on a temporary basis with the potential view to go permanent should the assignment be a success. 

The Maintenance Operative will be responsible for all of the planned and reactive maintenance works within the retail store, including; changing taps, lights, basic painting, changing door handles and generally keeping the store maintained in a tidy and safe manner. The Maintenance Operative will also be repsonsible for planned maintenance within the store, this will include taking temperatures of water units and chillers / freezers, this will be fully trained. 

The rate of pay for the Maintenance Operative is £10.79/hour, working Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, generally either 6am – 3pm or 7am – 4pm. If you are a Maintenance Operative, looking for a new opportunity to start ASAP, please get in touch.
