Lead Installation Engineer – £28k.
RHL FM & Technical are currently supporting a market leading facilities maintenance business in their search of a Lead Door Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in the Milton Keynes region.
Our Client have several sites across the U.K where they specialise in the Maintenance, Installation & Manufacturing of Aluminium, Thermal & Security Doors to Commercial, Industrial & Domestic premises.
Ideally, they are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow with the business as they will spend time & money investing in you as a Lead Door engineer.
The roles and duties of this position consist of the following –
Working as part of a team installing high security aluminium communal entrance doors, frames and screens and other associated products. Supervision of installation assistant.
Removal of existing frame and Installation of the new frame and door (following installation procedures) and causing the minimum disruption to the residents
Various aspects of building work i.e., rendering / plastering reveals, pointing, pebble dash, concrete sills etc
Precise work with mastic, silicone
Various aspect of building work
Loading and unloading the installation vehicle ensuring all materials required to complete the job are loaded safely and securely and checked against the relevant paperwork.
Dealing with customers / sub-contractors
Complete relevant training courses The successful candidate will have
Experience operating with hand tools and power tools
Full UK Driving Licence with Transport (essential)
Excellent communication at all levels
Previous experience (desirable)
Ability to pass DBS check
Hold a valid CSCS CardHours of work 8am – 5pm Mon – Friday
Overtime available to suit
The salary for this position is £28k + Van
