Our clients are a leading security door installation company. They are currently seeking a Lead Engineer to work on a mobile basis across the South East of England. The role will be to install high security doors for multiple premises.

Duties of the role will consist of:

Working as part of a team installing high security aluminium communal entrance doors, frames and screens and other associated products. Supervision of installation assistant.

Specific Responsibilities

Work in accordance with work instructions and core processes, ensuring a consistently high level of work is produced.
Using and operating various hand tools and power tools
Maintaining of tools and equipment (keeping them clean and lubricated where appropriate)
Follow health and safety requirements and correct working practices
Dealing with customers and sub-contractors
Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
Loading and unloading the installation vehicle ensuring all materials required to complete the job are loaded safely and securely and checked against the relevant paperwork.
Maintaining consumable stock levels inc monthly stock takes
Driving in a responsible manner and comply with all road rules.
Removal of existing frame and Installation of the new frame and door (following installation procedures) and causing the minimum disruption to the residents
Various aspects of building works i.e. rendering / plastering reveals, pointing, pebble dash, concrete sills etc
Precise work with mastic, silicone
Cleaning the site making sure no waste materials are left
Knowledge of construction and building practises
Completion of all paperwork i.e. :

Installation coversheet

Site installation report

Time sheets

Weekly Van Inspections

Expenses

Completion of full site surveys for manufacture purposes.
Completion of stock condition surveys
Carry out day to day repairs in a timely and diligent manor.
Carry out scheduled maintenance contracts
Quality approve/post inspects projects.
