A growing, global Pharmaceutical company is looking for a Junior Project Manager – Construction to join their Animal Health division based in Milton Keynes.

The business provides capital engineering services across the Animal Health UK manufacturing locations. You will be a senior member of the team, working closely with, and supporting site-based Project Group and Engineering, working across the business with key stakeholders to compile, manage and implement investments, improvements and enhancements to their process technology platforms, utilities and infrastructure.

As a Junior Project Manager – Construction your responsibilities will include:

Completing engineering projects by organising and controlling elements.
Adhering to budgets and schedules.
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, standards, behaviours and regulations.
Ensuring adherence by all personnel and contractors to the high-risk work and Contractor Management programs.
Engaging with EPCM partners.
Managing change.
Planning, organising, and controlling projects and improvements within the Production environment and wider site infrastructure and utilities systems.  This will involve communication with relevant personnel at all stages.
Developing objectives by reviewing proposals and plans and conferring with stakeholders and team members.
Determining responsibilities by identifying phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements.
Reviewing bids from contractors.
Coordinating with PMO to determine resource loading.
Delivering projects to a high standard while adhering to timescales and budgets.
Managing external contractors.
Adhering to all Health and Safety requirements.

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager – Construction who has the following skills and experiences:

Bachelor’s or Masters of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related discipline.
Previous PM experience working in the construction industry.
Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule software and tools 
Experience in M&E design.
Construction Industry experience.
In depth knowledge of cGMP.
Experience of managing multiple contractors in a GMP environment.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
Decision making, with the ability to analyse issues from multiple angles, drawing accurate well thought out conclusions in a timely fashion.
