Our client, a market leader in building sustainable and precision-built homes based in Milton Keynes, is looking for a Joiner on a permanent and full time employed basis.

You will work as part of a team conducting finishing works on modular built houses; fitting boards between units ready for other finishing trades to tape & joint, then paint over, fitting bannisters and re-/hanging doors.

Other duties will include fitting kitchens and other built in furniture, you may be required to assist Electricians and Plumbers in getting to areas behind these furnishings when required.

We are particularly looking for individuals who are able to think on their feet, to be able to solve problems as and when they occur. Being able to assist with other trades such as Tape & Jointing and Painting will also be expected when there is no joinery work to be conducted.

You will be working as part of a team of 4 tradespeople made up of Joiners, Tape & Jointers and Site Painters. You will be required to work on various sites, which will sometimes include working away from home, with all accommodation, food and other expenses covered.

We are also looking for a Joiner to lead each of the teams, so previous experience as a leader/supervisor/ganger will benefit you, and allows us to pay toward the higher end of our pay bracket.

Pay rates – 30k-33k/annum

To succeed as a Joiner in this role you will need:
-NVQ Level 2-3 in Joinery/Carpentry
-CSCS Card
-Previous experience working on construction sites that we can reference
-UK Drivers License
