Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer – HVAC
A design consultancy which has been running for over 50 years and delivered over 4000 projects are looking for a new intermediate mechanical design engineer.

Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer – HVAC
As in intermediate mechanical design engineer you will be designing heating, cooling, ventilation, hot and cold water systems and above ground drainage in a variety of different buildings.
You will be responsible for preparation and development of concept, feasibility and detailed design proposals, which include specifications, drawings, calculations.
You will also be doing thermal modelling and energy calculations using one of the following, IES or TAS.
You will need to be fully proficient in AutoCAD 2D with either some knowledge of the use of Revit or the desire to learn as well as knowledgeable of Word and Excel.
Good communication skills required and be able to accompany colleagues to meetings with clients, other professional design team members and contractors.
You will also need strong technical expertise within mechanical building services design, gained working within the UK building services industry for either a consultancy or contractor.
Requirements
As a design engineer they would expect the following:
* Minimum 5 years’ Mechanical services design experience
* IES or TAS software knowledge
* Minimum HNC/HND level in building services or mechanical engineering or degree equivalent
Remuneration
For the right person the salary would be between £30,000 and £40,000 with a package.
