Highways Electrical / Street Lighting Supervisor
Up to £37k (depending on experience)
Milton Keynes and surrounding
Our client who is a leading contractor within the Highways industry is currently looking for experienced Highways Electrical / Street Lighting Supervisor to oversee the Street Lighting teams working in the Milton Keynes and surrounding area.
Your role is to supervise large team of highways electrical / street lighting electricians, operatives and subcontractors on street lighting installation and maintenance contracts.
Day to day duties:
Running of day to day works
Signing off works on street lighting projects including installation, removal and maintenance, fault analysis and rectification.
Motivate crews to get maximum outputs from them
Maintaining health & safety and quality audits, passing details on to be logged and actioned
Maintain good client liaison
Attend regular programme meetings
Communicate with all parts of the business, to co-ordinate works, ensuring everyone is aware of resource requirements
You will also be responsible toolbox talks, disciplinaries, timesheets etc.
The successful Highways Electrical / Street Lighting Supervisor should have:
CSCS / ECS card
SSSTS / SMSTS or proven experience
HEA Supervisor / HERS qualified
Electrical knowledge and tickets – 17th / 18th edition, City & Guilds, Test & Inspection (2391, 2394 & 2395, HEA 714) or other relevant electrical qualifications
Proven experience supervising street lighting and highways electrical teamsThis is a permanent role, looking to start ASAP.
Salary is dependent on experience – up to £37k
