Our client, a Main Contractor, based in Milton Keynes, are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join them due to continued growth. The H&S Manager will be working on projects varying nature and value in the commercial sector, with works ranging from a small fit-out to a new-build industrial unit or warehouse. The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for managing H&S procedures across the businesses operations, working both from the Milton Keynes office and sites.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have prior experience working in a similar role with a strong knowledge of health and safety procedures within commercial construction. The H&S Manager will also need to be based within commuting distance of Milton Keynes and will need to have worked in permanent positon previously.

Job Type: Permanent
Job Location: Milton Keynes / Projects within 1.5 hours generally

Salary: £40k – £50k DOE plus Car Allowance
Start date: ASAP (happy to wait for notice periods)
Projects: Commercial D&B / Fit outs (warehousing, retail, industrial units etc.)
Company Turnover: £30 million

Health & Safety Manager Position Requirements

NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
Prior experience working as a H&S Manager or Advisor within construction
Full driving licence
Based local to Milton Keynes
Open to an experience H&S Advisor looking for their next step
Must have good tenure and be seeking a long term role
Knowledge of relevant projects (advantageous)
