Principal People are seeking a HSEQ Professional to be part of a rapidly expanding business that specialises within the Utilities and Infrastructure sectors. With multiple sites across the UK this is a fantastic opportunity for a HSEQ Professional to take that next step in an exciting and thriving company who have impressive goals for the next 5 years. The company has a heavy focus on maintaining a fantastic Health and Safety record and reputation and are looking to expand the business extensively in the coming years.
This role will consist of home, office and site based working and will have responsibility of managing a remote SHE team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals who put Safety, Health, Environment and Wellbeing at the forefront of the business. The role will provide you with a diverse workload and an opportunity to lead SHE across a well-established and growing business. This truly exciting opportunity requires a level of responsibility and passion to deliver the needs of the business.
Key responsibilities of the Head of SHE will include:
* Maintaining an excellent health & safety culture
* Promoting the businesses core values
* Managing remote team of SHE professionals
* Influencing and supporting at all levels across the business
* Promoting the importance of SHE compliance to strategic and operational staff
* Engaging with onsite teams
* Supporting development and maintenance on internal management systems
The successful Head of SHE will hold:
* NEBOSH Construction or equivalent as a minimum
* Full UK Driver’s License
* Experience within Utilities, Civil Engineering or similar
* And will be within a commutable distance to Bedford or Derby
Highly beneficial criteria of the Head of SHE are:
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
* Environmental Qualifications
* Working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regs
* Auditing qualifications
* Working knowledge with internal management systems
