Are you an experienced manager from the Interior fit out industry? Would you like to take on the exciting role of Head of Construction? Do you have the drive and ambition to move into a director position within 2 years? If so, read on:

Our client is a main contractor within the Interior fit out sector who have, over 20 years, built up an excellent reputation and client base. Due to exciting growth plans, they are looking to bring in a Head of Construction who will be field/home based with 1 day per week or 2 days per fortnight based in their offices in the Southwest.

They work across several sectors, producing high quality outcomes for Retail, Commercial & Finance, Public & Government, Leisure & Hospitality.  Their teams work throughout the UK to provide refurbishments and fit outs in offices, shops, attractions, and restaurants.

The role will be an integral part to their growth plans over the next couple of years to grow from a £30 million to over a £40 million turn over business, you will initially take a strategic lead on subcontractor implementation and management, working closely with each divisional manager to review how the company onboard and manage sub-contractors and what subcontractors are required to deliver future projects. The really exciting part is that the company have plans to open a subcontract fit out business in the next couple of years and you will move into being the Director for this company.

The ideal candidate:

Will have a solid work history within Interior fit out within both main and subcontractor companies

Have previous experience within Project, Contract or Construction management

Have built up a black book of contacts within the Fit-out industry

Be ambitious and love a challenge

In return the company offer:

Competitive basic of £60- £70,000 per annum

Bonus of up to £20,000 per annum

Car allowance of £8,000
