£21,786.62 plus Company Vehicle available for own use

About the role:
The Grounds Maintenance Operative will provide an effective and efficient grounds maintenance service to communal landscaped areas and retirement home schemes.
You will be involved in grass cutting, controlling moss and weeds, shaping shrubs, cutting hedges, preparing new planted areas and clearing litter. You will use a range of horticultural equipment to include mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters and chippers.
What they’re looking for:

Experience of landscaping, grounds maintenance and grass cutting work in communal landscaped areas and domestic gardens.

Someone who is capable of safely operating and carrying out daily checks, adjustments and basic maintenance on a variety of mechanised equipment, such as lawn mowers, strimmers and hedge cutters.

Basic numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to use a mobile device/pda/laptop
*
Ability to work safely and without close supervision, within a target timescales.
*
Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures
Due to the nature of the role you must be physically fit and capable of working out of doors in all weather doing arduous tasks. You must also possess a valid full driving licence.
