Graduate / Trainee Quantity Surveyor Position Overview:

Black Book Resourcing have secured an exclusive position with an award-winning developer based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. With over 30 years’ experience developing and designing high-end homes in sought after areas. This family orientated business is now in the position to expand their surveying department. Working alongside the commercial manager, who will help and guide you to perform the following duties:

* Ensure appropriate commercial records are maintained in line with the contract requirements.

* Produce final subcontract tender comparison for presentation to Commercial Lead.

* Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.

* Select and/or source construction materials.

* Work with construction package managers during procurement process.

* Liaise with design team as required.

* Identification of Risk and Opportunities for the subcontract packages you are responsible for.

* Procurement of subcontractors for acquired packages.

Graduate / Trainee Quantity Surveyor Person Requirements:

* Qualification in Quantity Surveying or working towards.

* Commutable driving distance to Milton Keynes.

* Forward thinking with the hunger to develop in a career in Quantity Surveyor.

Graduate / Trainee Quantity Surveyor Salary / Benefits:

* £18,000 – £25,000, depending on experience and/or qualification status.

* £3,000 car allowance.

* Holidays, 23 days a year + bank holidays + Christmas.

* Pension contribution (8%).
