An established family run business are searching for a General Foreman/Works Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Due to an incredibly busy start to the year and a healthy pipeline of work, they require a General Foreman with experience on S278 and Roads projects to work throughout the Bedfordshire area.
This business would suit someone who comes from a medium sized contractor (Turnover up to £50m) and wants to have the feel of a close-knit company rather than being a number within a larger company/project.
Some of your duties:
Ordering materials when needed
Supervising operatives
Supporting site agent where needed
Liaising with customers and greater site team
Ensuring that you maintain high H&S standards
About you:
HNC/D in Civil Engineering
CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid
Experienced within S278 and infrastructure projects
Lives in the Bedfordshire / Northampton area
