Approach Personnel are currently recruiting for a Fire Surveyor to provide Fire Risk Assessments & Fire Door Surveys services to a wide range of contracts across Milton Keynes and Bedford. This is a temporary role and an immediate start for the right candidate.

As a Fire Door Inspector, You Will

Complete visual inspections and surveys on fire doors to ensure they are up to compliance standards
Produce reports and offer advice and recommendations to clients
Have a good understanding of Timber Fire Doors and similar furniture
Identify that the frame specification is correct for the door's rating
Ensure that the choice of Frame/lining/casing and intumescent smoke seals are compatible
Have good working knowledge of current Health & Safety and other relevant legislation

A minimum of two years' experience in fire door surveying
Full UK driving license
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
