A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for an experienced fire door carpenter to join their team. You will be working on domestic and commercial projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and remedial works to existing doors and frames. The vast majority of works are based between London and the Midlands, but you maybe asked to travel further afield in the UK.

You will be managed on your outputs rather than the hours you are working, so once your works for the day are completed – you will be finished for the day, no matter what time it is. The minimum expectation is 1 full installation per day.

The successful candidate will have:

At least two years experience working with fire doors

*

A strong background in carpentry and joinery

*

NVQ or equivalent in carpentry

*

Full UK driving license

Permanent

Fire door installations and remedial works to properties across London & Midlands

*

Fully employed role on a PAYE basis

£34,000 – £37,000

*

Paid holiday plus bank holidays

*

Staying away allowance

*

Company vehicle, fuel card and phone provided

*

Additional training provided to become a certified FIRAS installer
