Are you an experienced Finishing Manager?
Have you carried out inspections and created defect lists?
I am currently recruiting for a Finishing Manager to work for a Main Contractor on a Residential job nearly Milton Keynes.
The project:
A residential new build project which is majority apartments although there are a small number of houses also.
The role:
As the Finishing Manager on site you will be working under a Senior Site Manager you will be tasked with managing and coordinating internal works packages which will and your role will include but not be limited to:
Coordinate subcontractors daily activities.
Carry out site inspections
Create defects/snag lists
Ensure contractors have deadlines for works to be completed
Follow up on all defects
Order through the supply chain any non-supply fit plant and materials.
Client liaison.
Provide progress updates throughout the day to the Senior Manager on site.About you:

First AidExperience:
Recent experience working as a Finishing Manager on residential projects
Proven experience of creating defect lists and improving the product before handover
Track record of working as part of a team for a large main contractor or house builder.
Trade background would be an advantageSkill set:
Good level of IT literacy with Microsoft Office suite and Apple iPad.
Excellent interpersonal skills written and verbal.
Ability to lead and encourage others to maintain standards.
